DESCRIPTION

GeneCraft offers most restriction enzymes from pBS polylinker. Reaction buffers are supplied together with enzymes free of charge.

UNIT DEFINITION & CONCENTRATION

One unit of the enzyme is the amount required to hydrolyze 1 µg of DNA hour in a total reaction volume of 50nml. Most restriction enzymes are normallly delivered at the concentration of 20 units/µl.

STORAGE BUFFER

20 mM Tris- HCL pH 7.5; 1000mM NaCl; 0.1 mM EDTA; 2 mM DTT; 0.1 mg/ml BSA; 50% glycerol (v/v)

STORAGE TEMPERATURE

Store restriction rnzymes below 0°C, preferably at - 20°C, in a constant temperature freezer.
